Anybody have info on this company to share? Found this sign in a milk barn slated for demolition. Would love to have a little background about them and possibly put a rough age of the sign. Seems all I can find is they were a Northwest based company?

Time gas and oil was a west coast jobber, which makes sense, since this sign was found on the west coast. I'm not sure, but it might also be related to the Time Gasoline I posted a picture of (I'm not sure if the this Time is related to the west coast jobber I just mentioned)??

GREAT FIND and GREAT SAVE, by the way!

The same I believe. There was a Time bulk plant about 8 blocks from my home. Portland Oregon is where I believe they started, someone on here will probably know a lot more. Great signs and the bigger ones are really colorful. You have a really great sign there.

Just a question, is that a misprint when was Washington state ( WN ) ?? The guy who made the sign, may have been in the military (more specifically, The Coast Guard). Back in the day there were two sets of abbreviations - The US Post Office and The US Coast Guard used a different set for ships. WN was Washington for the USCG. The standard abbreviations we use today were ‘official’ in 1963, before that a lot of states were 4-letter abbreviations. (Source: the internet, I ain’t that smart) -Steve

Awesome thanks for the info! There definitely isn't a lot out there about Time Oil Co. Now to see if I can do some digging around local and turn up a photo of where the sign was displayed. Great find. Right in my backyard!! Definitely got lucky on this one. I'm suspecting it came from the old gas station off airport way. Not the one out by hw9 but closer to the buzz in.

Just a question, is that a misprint when was Washington state ( WN ) ?? Great sign and great save! WN was the abbrivation that was used until the 60s. It was used nation wide. Here is another old sign example of that. It was on the bottom of a large Highway sign. Sorry about the pic quality, it was the best one of it that I could find.
