Large collection of very nice neon signs, cans, signs, radios and thousands of more items. Nice stuff, in Hillsboro Oregon this Friday and Saturday. No online just a sale with prices. See Portland Craig's list for details and pictures. Under neon or Radios I believe, this is a estate sale.

Looks like the only way to purchase anything is you have to be there. Is anyone planning on going?

I wanted to go but figured I would have to leave about 1 or 2 in the morning to wait at the gate for the opening for the one item I was interested in. They had a decent 12' Shell rooftop sign for $800. Decided not to travel down in the rain as I'm sure there would have been someone ahead of me to grab it no matter how early I got there. I'm sure there were some great deals to be had if you were one of the first come first served buyers.

Hope that family was wealthy...because yes...it's really neat they did a sale like that but if you enlarge a couple of the photos the stuff was marked about a 1/3 of what it's currently worth. I've seen situations like this where the sale company had a couple of "friends" at the front of the line, or if some collector friend of the family helped them mark it and then was first in line. Hopefully that wasn't the case. Based upon the prices viewed whoever was first in line should have just said "I'm buying it all".

Again...feel bad for the family.
